A death record from July 1, 1907 until the previous two months from the present is available at the state office mentioned. It can be requested by means of online services offered by the agency, telephone orders or postal mail. Applicants can personally visit the office and transact directly.

Each request cost $20 that is payable to cash for personal transactions. Mailed request must send the payment by means of checks or money order payable to the Department of Health of Washington State. It has the same processing fee of $20. However, a fee of $3 is added for every additional copy of the desired report. Telephone and online request costs $31.50 that is paid by check or money orders.

There are online companies that offer free search services of Death Records. They will give you some information you need but with limited content. In order to view the complete details, a small amount is required. Online search of such file will give you convenience of knowing the availability of the document you desire. It can be performed in your desirable time at your comfortable pace. It minimizes the stress of going to different offices just to know if the record is ready to be released for a copy.
